Sierra Dragonfly Center is a new dedicated mental health center with a clear mission: to offer accessible, high-quality therapy while nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals. Our mission is rooted in the belief that mental health is essential to overall well-being and should be accessible, understood, and prioritized in every community. We offer therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with specialized support for LGBTQIA+ individuals, trauma survivors, veterans, clients challenged with anxiety, depression, and addiction, and those in rural areas. To ensure accessibility, we provide both in-person and telehealth sessions. 

At the core of our vision is a commitment to providing a supportive environment for both clients and therapists. We believe in the importance of mental well-being for all. Our approach prioritizes both the care of our clients and the support of our therapists, including educating and mentoring future therapists.

Current Openings:

Part-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Professional Counselor (CPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an on-site, dedicated, and enthusiastic licensed therapist to join our team as we build and grow our new agency. This position is ideal for someone passionate about mental health, eager to showcase their professional skills, and committed to providing high-quality care to clients. If you would like to join a center where your contribution and input are pivotal in the growth of the agency, we would like to chat with you. At Sierra Dragonfly Center, your voice matters. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical interventions and continuing care services to individuals, couples, and families, including assessments and case management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Participate in ongoing training and collaboration to enhance clinical skills
  • Collaborate with a compassionate and supportive team to ensure client needs are met
  • Be available for afternoon and evening hours to accommodate client schedules (preferred)

  • We’ll help you with managing attestations and expiration/due dates for licenses, continuing education, CAQH, and other requirements so you don’t have to worry

  • We’ll take care of the scheduling and eligibility verification for you

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work program
  • Licensed with the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists & Clinical Professional Counselors OR Licensed with the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers 
  • Ability to work evening hours preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care

  • Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
