Bobbi Wilkinson, Owner, ADHD Coach in Training
“In any given moment, we have two options: to step forward into growth or step back into safety.” ~ Abraham Maslow
Throughout my journey as an adult, I’ve faced profound loss, but what I’ve lost pails in comparison to what I’ve gained. It was through the depths of grief, pain, and loss that I discovered just how many gaps exist in the support system that is mental health. When I couldn’t find a safe space to receive the support I needed, I recognized the need to create it myself. United with a group of strong, compassionate, and intelligent women who share a deep commitment to helping our community, I channeled my passion for making a difference in the lives of others into founding Sierra Dragonfly Center.
With over thirty years of professional experience, including teaching, Human Resources, and business management, I’ve worked to create an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered. Collaborating with my dedicated management team, I’m proud to provide comprehensive and compassionate mental health support across Northern Nevada.
My life’s path has revealed many discoveries, including learning I am living with ADHD. As a proud member of the Neurodivergent community, I embrace my ADHD as a source of creativity and resilience, crediting it with helping me stand out instead of feeling the need to fit in. As I work towards my ADHD Coaching Certifications through ADDCA*, ICF*, and PAAC*, I enjoy coaching others with ADHD while advocating for greater awareness and understanding of this often misunderstood trait.
Thanks to my beautiful Golden Retriever, Libbi, the rest of my days are filled with love and play. Named after the Portuguese word for Dragonfly, “Libelula,” Libbi serves as our furry resident mascot, ready to greet you when you visit. Additionally, I am the creative force behind Sorriso Studios, where I use my voice-over talent in commercials, narration, and character work.
I’m grateful for my life experiences and challenges, as they have better equipped me to help others on their journey.
